Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am 22 years old female and were doing job in a small scale pvt. ltd. company. my salary was rupees 5000/- but they used to take extra work from me, they knew it that i was needy because of my financial condition is not so well. so they tried to give me the peon level jobs and as i was a girl who was appointed to do clerical and computer related job and i was doing well in my job so how could i do that kind of job. they also transfer some lazy employee's work on me. and didn't talk to me in the senses so as a human being i was mentally harassed by them. they used to give my salary in the middle of month instead of giving on the 7th of the month coz they knew if they will not give my salary on the time so i will not leave the job and they used to carry on their harassment on me. but one day I decided that it is not easy to do the job in this company and I left the job without taking my 10 days salary which is around 1700/- rupees. but after leaving the job they are frequently calling to me again and again they are saying that return you medical insurance which company had made for you and also return you ID card. As the company is not providing PF, DA,etc. to the employees so why they asking for these formalities. after all these things I agreed to return all the things what they want, but they are searching my home as they are thinking that iam a thief, after this i decided that i will not return anything to them untill they will not pay my 10 days salary. So LAW GURU please tell me what should I do in this case, can they take any legal action on me or can I take any legal action on them. for you knowledge let me tell you that they gave my salary in cash. there is no salary slip for that.

THANK YOU.

you may approach a lawyer and he would a legal notice to your employer for the recovery of your salary and also compensation for the harassment meted out to you. in case you send a legal notice, this would be a defence in case they initiate any legal action against you in future.
