Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Opposing's incompetence

The quandary I find myself, in addition to being in the midst of a divorce, is that my wifes attorney has made several errors in his preparation and submission of documents. Now please understand that my wife and I are most understanding of each other and remain quite good friends. This should have been a very easy process. My (ex)wife is in total amazement at her attorney, often proofing/correcting and returning documents to him that he prepares on her behalf.

This attorney has agreed that his word processing has gone awry and that he will forgive her charges relating to making everything right. Thats good and well, but

My attorney has had to review and comment and confer with me on the very same documents that opposing has no-charged for the (ex)wife but I receive a bill from my attorney.

So, as I see it

Opposing has admitted incompetence,

Forgiven my wife the expense of making it right

And

I get charged by my attorney to wade through his mess.

Should I have some recourse against her counsel for the unnecessary fees associated with his incompetence
