Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My mother passed away intestate. I have been appointed Provisional Administrator of the estate. There are two other heirs. I want to sell her car. Do I need to have the other heirs sign are will a certified copy of the letters of administration be sufficent.

If none of the heirs have been put in possession already, you need court authority to sell the vehicle. You have to file a petition to sell the vehicle with the court and have a hearing on the matter. If the Court agrees, it will give you a Judgment granting you authority to sell the vehicle.
