Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Maryland

Terms of settlement

I read that if a client settle their case, but later discovered that their lawyer withheld information that would have helped their client, the settlement terms could be set aside because of the misconduct of their lawyer, and the case could be revisited. Is this true?

Re: Terms of settlement

It is most unlikely that you could do this. Your complaint is with the lawyer, not the party with whom you settled.
