Automobile Liability and Title

My daughter's car is titled in my name. I'm trying to determine if I should have the title transferred to my daughter. Am I exposed to additional liability because my name is on the title? We're on the same insurance policy. She is 17. Thank you.

If she drives only in MD, you are likely not subject to additional liability risk, but DC and some states impose liability on the owner. If she drives in DC, it may be worth transferring it.
