Minor injuried by another minor

My daughter was deliberalty tripped by another child at school. This action resulted in her falling down and knocking out one of her front teeth. What recourse do I have against the other child's parents for her estimated dental expenses and the associated mental anguish?

The last time that I looked at this issue, Maryland did recognize some liability to parents for the wrongful acts of their children, particular intentionally wrongful acts. There may be limits on the amount of recovery.
