Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Different Termination Date in Separation Agreement

My Separation Agreement (signed by both parties) states a Termination Date that is 8 weeks longer than what was told to me orally and what is shown for my COBRA date (appears like a mistake). I plan to inform them a couple weeks before my pay/benefits stop but if they push back, what legal remedy is available? They are in Massachusetts, I am in Georgia, 8 weeks pay & medical is at stake.

Re: Different Termination Date in Separation Agreement

You have no legal remedy available. If you signed the Termination Agreement, no other oral representations that might contradict the terms of that agreement can be used or considered.
