Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I have a vehicle financed the company is refusing a partial payment I am only one payment behind. They have also threatened to garnish wages if vehicle is repoed... Can they do this??? They also won't accept payments after due date throught the mail you have to pay to have it western unioned to them!

They will have a very difficult time in court providing a reasonable excuse as to why they would not send a check through the back that was presented for payment.

The company could not garnish wages unless they took you to court and procured a judgment followed by an order for garnishment.

If I were you, I would send a check whenever possible, enclosed with a letter, and accompanied by delivery confirmation.
