Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Is there any way to stop a bank from making a loan (any type of loan - consumer or otherwise) to a person's spouse?

For instance, if a person thinks their spouse will try to apply for a loan without their knowledge and/or approval is there a legal form or procedure to give to the bank to prevent the bank from making loans to a spouse when no divorce action is pending?

This information will be helpful for all people who have spouses who go into debt without their knowledge. Thank you for your assistance.

No, in fact the spouse could be sued for intentional interference with an advantageous business relationship. The bank makes their own decisions. The other spouse will not be responsible for these debts anyway, because they are not on the loan. Kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
