A temp.order was filed against me and I have not been served. I was not able to pick up my infant for my visitation days because of order why?

If the temporary order went in to effect on the day it was issued and it says that you can't pick up your infant then it controls whether you have been served or not. The service is more to protect you from a stalking order or charge.
