you just leave with out breaking your lease

I was renting at a place in new hampshire and are lease was up in Dec but we moved out before then and we never told them that we are breaking the lease . The place that we rented from can they try to find where you live in make you go to court or pay the rent that we had to pay them..

You signed a contract --a lease. You admit breaking the contract. You owe the landlord the money. The landlord didn't have a chance to rent the apartment to reduce the damages since you did not give any prior notice. You might want to review your lease to see if you are responsible for any costs of collection, including landlord's attorneys fees. If so, perhaps you might consider making some offer in settlement to avoid that extra charge plus court fees. I suggest that you might benefit from meeting with an attorney to conduct a more comprehensive review of the situation.
