Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

Can my insurance company make a claim on my settlement with the insurance company for injuries sustained. My attorney says they can. Why???

It depends on your insurance policy. If the other driver was at fault, then his insurance company is on the hook for your expenses, damages, etc. If your insurance company initially paid for your medical expenses, for example, then that company is entitled to reimbursement, if that is what your policy provides.
