Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

My son,Andrew was working with Washington County Juvinel Services. Just picking up papers and trash. The Supervisor was sitting in the county van as usual. when he sends all the children. along the roadway or freeway. The last time he went they were to pick up trash as usual and put it in a trash bag as the man in charge sits in the van a watches.Andrew not knowing the danger went as always with his trash bag to pick up along the roadside. This time they were parked in a wash area and started walking and putting trash in his bag there was a very muddy decline. So Andrew was going along and he lost his balance because of the muddy decline and slipped and fell .He disslocated his kneecap and fractured a bone, his knee was 45 degrees to his left. tHE SUPERVISOR WAS AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM, TO MAKE A REPORT. HE TOLD MY WIFE HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING THEY HAVENT DONE ANYTHING AND MY WIFE AS MADE SEVERAL CALLS THEY STATED THAT THEY HAVE TO FILE A INSURANCE CLAME. BUT STILL 3 WEEKS LATER NOTHING HAS HAPPENED IF IT WASENT FOR OUR PERSONAL INSURANCE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING FOR HIM BUT EMPTY PROMISES.WE WERE TOLD HE WILL NEED THERAPY BUT OUR INSURANCE WONT COVER. AND THEY TOLD MY WIFE THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING OUR INSURANCEN WONT COVER STILL NOTHING AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT. Andrew needs it taking care of now or its possible he could haqve permenant damage.and cant have the therapy he needs. We went back to his doctor, and now they want to give him a MRI My son shouldnt have to suffer like this and not be taken care of like they promised , due to there negelance. sincerally RDN.

You need an attorney to sue the county, which would appear to be legally responsible for the incident. I do not handle cases like this, but the Kafoury McDougal law firm in Portland does them all the time. 503-224-2647; www.kafourymcdougal.com.
