Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

Should I get a lawyer? Racial Profiling Commited by Wal-Mart.?

I believe that i was racial profiled at

my local wal-mart.

I was accused of stealing because

of the way i look.

I am 16, and Filipino

here is an account of what

happened to me

Wal-Mart: February 14, 2009 app.:

5:15 P.M

Racial Profiling

Wal-Mart Lady1: [yelling] Sir! Sir!

Sir!

Me: Walking towards the exit

unaware she was talking to me...

The employee made the

accusations in an area of heavy

consumer traffic and in view of

other store employees

I was followed, searched, and

humiliated

Wal-Mart Lady: Grabs my shoulder

to get my attention She says to

me The way he LOOKS he must of

stole something

More Wal-Mart people surround me

Wal-Mart greater: Asks if there is a

need to get security security

Wal-Mart Lady: Repeats the way

he LOOKS he must of have stole

something

Several of Wal-Marts employees

surround causing a scene.

They have me empty my pockets

to show that I had

stole somthing

After I emptied my pockets

Wal-Mart Lady: Repeated that he

must have stolen something but we

cant strip search Him

They did this without notifying my

parents or asking me to get them.

Causing embarrassment to me
