Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

We are raising 2 grandchildren, a 9 yr.old (we've had since he was 6 mos.) and a 4 yr.old (we brought home from the hospital).They have never lived away from us. They are covered on our insurance, and both have medical needs.
For the last nine yrs. Mother floats in and out, whenever. Sometimes there is fighting and yelling. We don't know who the fathers are. They want us to adopt them, and give them our last name. Here is the problem, we live paycheck to paycheck and we need someone willing to work with us.
Please help us find help to make them feel more secure.
We are in desperate need of an attorney!!!

You can call Lone Star Legal Services and see if they provide free legal services in your area.

You can also call the State Bar of Texas in Austin and see if they know of any pro bono groups that might be able to assist you in your area.

Many attorneys take weekly payment plans.
