Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I am being accused for harrassment at work for something that happened off the clock. Can my company do that? Yesterday at work a co worker accused me of calling him a bitch. he went to the higher ups and i am on admin leave. I do admit i did call him that but in a text message from days ago when he was off the clock. I know he was off the clock becasue you can not carry personal cell phones on the the facility.

unless you have a contract, belong to a union..etc..the company can do whateveer they want generally...so careful with the written word..
