This is a "premises liabilty" question.

The company may be responsible for damage done to an employee's car if: 1.there has been similar criminal acts commited in the employer's parking lot BEFORE the vandalism was done to the employee's vehicle OR if such criminal acts were reasonably forseeable by the employer AND 2.the employer failed to act reasonably in order to prevent such criminal acts (ex. hire a security guard, properly train a security guard, etc.) AND 3. the employee has not waived any damages or duties owed by the employer.

This answer only generaly answers your question. Specific facts may signigicantly alter the answer. You should consult with an attorney for a more in-depth analysis of these issues.

Good Luck!
