Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

How to divide personal property

I thought that anything given as a gift during a marriage was mine to keep. Is that not true? During my marriage my husband bought me, him and my son all 4 wheelers. He recently sold mine. Can I be reimburst for the cost of that? The divorce decree also states he would refinance the house in his name only, it's been almost a year and he still hasn't done it. Isn't that contempt of court? What can I do legally?I need him to refinance, I can't do anything with my name on that house and the one I'm living in. Please advise.

Re: How to divide personal property

The 4 wheeler is marital property. If he sold it you have no recourse unless it was sold in violation of a court order. You can take him back to court to get your name removed from the house on penalty of contempt.
