Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia

I worked as a contract landscape designer for a Virginia landscape company. I worked from my home and kept all my drawings in my home office. I did not sign any confidentiality agreements or anything else that stated my drawings belonged to the company. I terminated with the company and now the owner wants my drawings. Question: Do I have to give them to him? Thank you.

No, not if your contract with the company did not give any rights to the company to claim these drawings upon termination of your services (in my opinion).
