is small claims court the best way to claim a verbally promised vacation pay, after being terminated for no reason at all? considering the labor board does not help in VA, is there a way to/what is the best way to ; prove a verbal contract?

You're likely wasting your time since there is no legal requirement

in the Commonwealth that employers provide their employees with paid vacations or any pay in lieu thereof.
