If I file for bankruptcy will my past due child support be forgiven?

No. There are a few things that are not dischargeable in a bankruptcy -- and child support is among them. Others include, but are not limited to, debts arising from: injuries caused while the debtor was driving under the influence; intentional injury to another person or entity; and fraud.
