Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Mediation question

Several weeks ago I recieved a notice that I needed to appear at a voluntary medation with my ex. I contacted her attorney about why and I only got vague issues that where being mediated. Also, I was never given an option of dates and I can't make the scheduled date. I fear that if I do not show up, the mediator would file that report and whatever this is goes to court, I would look bad to the judge. I am representing myself. Her attorney does not answer my emails about rescheduling. What can I do about rescheduling and how could I even prepare for this mediation?

Re: Mediation question

You need the help of an attorney in order to formulate a plan about what you want from this proceeding. The mediation can be re-set but you might have to go to the judge to re-set the mediation. If you want to retain me to assist you e-mail me a phone # I can call you on and a time.
