Legal Question in Workers Comp in Georgia

Fell at work first doctor I saw said I had sprain knee gave me a print out of how to care for it but siad that I could return to work wiht limitaions. Didn't go back to work cause of pain and medicine I was on. Saw second doctor today he says that Ihave sprain knee and hip he gives me more accomodations but says its up to my job about me working. Was told by company that I had to return to work tomorrow but they have only told me one way that they will accomadate me. I have one bad leg can not afford to have another messed up leg. What would happen if I stayed out of work tomorrow?

If you are currently receiving workers' compensation weekly income checks, your employer must ask the doctor to approve a written job description before your benefits may be suspended. If you are not currently receiving weekly checks, you will need to prove that you are unable to work as a result of your injury.
