Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

just bought a used car and brought it to a mechanic to get it checked out I paid cash for the car and am waiting for the title, I asked the dealer to check out the possible problem with the car for it is still under warranty, but he said he did not want to deal with the issue and refund my money, I like the car and would like to keep it but is he responsible for any issues under warranty and is he legally expected to at least check out the car for possilbe problems that may occur in the future, he was very rude, and refused to even negotiate. please let me know what I can do? Thank you
