Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My father passed away without a will - he had three children from his first marriage and he was remarried. they lived in louisiana. all threee of his children live in texas. a few months before he passed he sold his business and opened an account - he put my step mother and my brothers name on the account in order to pay his bills. they have split the account between them. he also had a ubs savings account and a life insurance policy - my question

is do i and my siblings ( we are not step children) have any right to his estate?

Even though he put the names of others on his account, the account is still part of his estate. His half would go to his natural children equally. Same with the UBS account. The life insurance policy would be paid to the beneficiaries named in the policy.
