I do not think that it matters. I find myself signing original court filings in blue ink simply because it helps me to find and distinguish the original from the copies, which will all show up as black. I know of one court that requests originals to be signed in blue ink for this reason. Just make sure it is dark blue ink if you use blue, but generally, I do not think it matters. - Michael Worsham
